Lotus with Dragonfly
The lotus flower symbolizes an array of beliefs in different cultures
and religions. Egyptian, Hindu and Chinese mythology hold the lotus as
a symbol of creation. Christianity views the lotus (white lilly) as a
symbol of purity. In Eastern philosophy the lotus is viewed as a
symbol of spiritual unfolding. While the lotus is rooted in muddy
waters, it travels upward in aspiration towards the light and finally
blooms into a beautiful flower. This urn is designed to be hung on a wall, but it can also be placed flat.

Firemen's Memorial
Made for a fireman, this urn is an example of a design that can be applied to a number of careers and personal interests; public service, military, hobby, etc. The copper body has a false bottom held in place with screws for easy placement of remains. The design on the brass plaque is achieved by using a photo etching process and is then cut out by hand.

Textured Toulouse
This is our standard Toulouse design fabricated with copper that has a hammered texture applied to it. The surface then undergoes a patination process that accentuates the recesses of the texture and requires several different steps to achieve. The end result produces rich browns, subtle oranges and an occasional verde green highlight.

Verde Lafayette
This is our standard Lafayette design with a verde green patina (colored finish) applied to it. Copper acquires this type of coloring when it is left outside and exposed to the elements over a long period of time. It can take up to thirty years for this degree of coloring to develop naturally.
This patina is available on any of our designs for an additional $100.
Rusty Orleans
This is our standard Orleans design with a "rusty" patina (colored finish) applied to it. This patina process adds an interesting mix of colors including reds, oranges and browns as well as giving the illusion of texture to the surface.

Cloud Toulouse
This is a customized version of our standard Toulouse design. The wrap around cloud design is inspired from Chinese porcelain vases dating back to the Ch'ing Dynasty. Brass rivets were also used on this urn for an added touch of color. All of the images on this custom urn are hand-etched.

Canister
This urn is a very simple design with a subtle patina applied to it. The cylindrical design is complimented by the red, gold and occasional green streaks found in it's surface treatment.

Heart Shaped Box
This is one of our most unique custom urns to date. Inspired by medicine and anatomy, this copper urn is shaped like an anatomical heart with hand etched lines showing great detail. This urn is a prime example of the extent of our custom fabrication capabilities and vision of what we want to make available in non traditional designs.

Cherry Blossom Lafayette
In Japanese culture the cherry blossom (Sakura) symbolizes the transient nature of life due to their short blooming periods. Their extreme beauty and quick death often associates them with mortality and represents a metaphor for the fleeting nature of life. The Sakura is also an omen of good fortune and is an emblem of love, affection and represents spring. This customized version of our Lafayette design has a hand etched cherry blossom tree motif that wraps around the entire surface of this urn in a continuous pattern from panel to panel.

Art Nouveau Bienville
This is a customized version of our standard Bienville design. The hand etched design is an Art Nouveau floral pattern typical of the movement that occurred at the turn of the 20th century. Designs such as this emphasized the underlying principle that the essence of aesthetics should be sought in nature. This extremely detailed etching covers the entire surface of this urn.

Cracked Toulouse
This is a customized version of our standard Toulouse design. The hand etched design on this urn is inspired by traditional Chinese geometrical patterns found on porcelaneous stoneware vessels from the Ch'ing Dynasty. The etchings cover the entire surface of this urn.

Requiem For a City - Pt. 1
The copper used to make this urn was salvaged from the artist's studio after hurricane Katrina. The patina is a result of the sheets of copper sitting in flood water over the course of several weeks. There is evidence of the different levels of the flood found within the patina's striped pattern.

A series of three urns were made from salvaged copper that was flooded in the artist's studio after hurricane Katrina. This is the last urn available of the three.
The Marriage of Lung and Feng Huang (Companion Urn)
Chinese mythology depicts the dragon (Lung) as a symbol of the Emperor and the phoenix (Feng Huang) as a symbol of the Empress. In conjunction with each other they represent marriage and a balance in nature. This companion urn is meant to convey that same balance through the use of these traditional mythological images. All of the images on this two person companion urn are hand-etched.

Chess Piece
Built for an avid chess player, this queen chess piece is made from copper, brass and sterling silver. This unique piece was even fitted with green felt on the bottom as a final touch.
Keepsake Urn
This small keepsake urn is made entirely from sterling silver and is 2.25” at its largest dimension. An etched anatomical heart decorates the top of the piece.
